Year 4 Class Page

Welcome to our Year 4 family!

This year, Year 4 will be taught by Miss Taylor with the support of Mrs Parkes.

In Year 4, we believe that every child deserves the opportunity to develop a genuine love for learning. We strive to deliver a curriculum that is inclusive, accessible and engaging, create an environment where curiosity is nurtured and opportunities for exploration and collaboration are abundant. We are committed to ensuring that all children reach their full potential, feel safe and flourish academically, socially, and emotionally. We want all children to learn to celebrate what makes them special and unique so that their individually shines in all they do.

Throughout the year, we will be learning about our class saint, Saint Cecilia who is the patron saint of music and musicians. It is said that she sung in her heart for the lord. We will take inspiration from her and consider the importance of being resilient when spreading the word of God.  Just like our Mission Statement, we will endeavour to support children in developing as global citizens who are ‘open to the needs of the whole world’. We hope to inspire them to become agents for change who are proactive and charitable members of the community.

We warmly welcome the children back to school as they begin their Year 4 learning journey. We look forward to a fantastic year ahead, filled with memorable experiences and exciting learning opportunities. If you ever have any questions/queries, please do not hesitate to contact us.
